The resonance of sound waves can entrain brain waves, slowing heart rate, lowering blood pressure, and reducing cortisol levels by 31% Being exposed to singing bowl sound therapy saw a 3.7 point decrease in anxiety based on psychological surveys.
Sound healing induced alpha and theta brain wave states linked to deep relaxation, intuition, and heightened creativity per EEG monitorings. Mindfulness meditation paired with sound frequency resulted in 65% fewer mind-wandering episodes versus silence in brain imaging studies.
Overall, peer-reviewed investigations into sound baths, gong therapy, drum circles, chanting and other modalities have substantiated claims that sound healing can sizably lower stress, anxiety, and fatigue, and improve sleep quality, mood, and cognitive function. Current evidence affirms the tangible therapeutic value of sound therapy.
Long story short, I experienced a very unexpected cathartic event during the second half of that day. Caught me completely by surprise. I have been desperately trying all sorts of avenues to make a safe, ongoing connection with my inner core (child) and somehow you provided another opportunity for us to communicate again. It was wonderful. I was able to meet with myself, revisit my mother daughter connection with myself and the earth, the earth mother ... it was incredible. I could go on and on about how this was so special... So thank you".
Over the last five years, the reach of Matt's work has stretched across Australia, Europe, the USA, and beyond benefiting thousands of people around the world.

" I was privileged to receive a sound therapy group session from Matt. 7 weeks ago I was in a serious car accident and had been experiencing such bad pain in my thoracic spine that I had to take opioids. Matt knew nothing about this history. During the 1 h session he focused in on the exact place where my pain was. That pain left during the session and so far 10 days later has never returned. I am off all drugs and all treatments. Matt is a miracle worker."

I’d really love to come to the workshop but I’m a little nervous about coming alone. Are there others that come alone? |
The practices are all done individually, it is a mixture of theory/learning and then a chance to meditate as a group and finally experience a full sound immersion with Matt at the end.
If it would help to have a chat with one of our team, shoot an email through to [email protected] with the best contact number. Sometimes it helps to have a chat through things 🙂
From our experience and the feedback we receive from attendees, if you feel curious and called to come along, we encourage you to trust your intuition and lean in, we promise, you won't regret it.
